The Bunker CIC – Tuition Terms and Conditions

For 1-1 Lessons and Group Sessions

Effective from: 01/09/25

By enrolling in sessions at The Bunker CIC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to keep things fair and consistent for everyone involved.

1. Booking & Payments

 


1-1 Lessons

  • All 1-1 lessons are paid via monthly subscription.

  • Prices are:

  • £60/month for a weekly 30-minute lesson

  • £100/month for a weekly 1-hour lesson

  • Fees are based on an average of 48 lessons per year, with a 2-week break at Christmas and 2 weeks off in Summer.

  • Payment is required monthly in advance via the MyMusicStaff portal.

  • Your subscription secures your regular weekly time slot.

  • Missed lessons are non-refundable unless agreed in advance with our office.

Group Sessions (e.g. Band Club, Home Ed):

  • Group sessions are billed per half term, depending on the number of weeks.

  • Payment is due before the first session of each half term, also via MyMusicStaff.

  • Your place in the group is reserved upon payment.

2. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

  • If you need to cancel a lesson, please give as much notice as possible. However, missed lessons will not be refunded or carried over, as your slot and tutor time are held for you.

  • Missed lessons may be able to be rearranged, subject to Tutor availability.

  • In special cases (e.g. long-term illness, or holidays over 2 weeks), we’ll do our best to offer alternatives or a temporary pause.

  • If a session is cancelled by The Bunker (e.g. due to tutor illness or an emergency), we will either reschedule or provide a credit, so you will not pay for this.

3. Attendance & Behaviour

  • Please arrive on time for your session. Repeated lateness may affect what can be covered.

  • We expect respectful and positive behaviour in all lessons and groups.

  • The Bunker CIC reserves the right to cancel or suspend sessions for any student whose behaviour negatively impacts others.

4. Communication

  • All important updates, schedules, and payment info will be shared via MyMusicStaff, email, or direct contact with your tutor. Please take time to read all emails and to login to the portal regularly.

  • It’s your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.

5. Media & Safeguarding

  • We may occasionally take photos or videos for promotional use (e.g. social media, website). We will always seek consent before sharing identifiable images of under-18s.

  • The Bunker CIC follows robust safeguarding policies. All staff working with children or vulnerable adults are DBS-checked.

6. Changes to Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. We’ll notify you of any significant changes in advance.
