Here at The Bunker, Sunderland, we offer a wide range of training courses and professional music tuition at a reasonable price, often discounted or free of charge, for those who qualify for financial support. The Bunker has delivered music training and music tuition, supporting musicians in Sunderland for over 40 years.
As a not for profit organisation, our heart is in the Community, with all money being reinvested back into helping more local people. Everyone is welcome, any age, any ability. We currently have students as young as 5 year old, all the way up to 80 year old. You’re never too young, or old to start learning to play an instrument.
Monitor Progress
Students and (where necessary) parents receive a login to our online learning portal. This enables students to access feedback, resources and even record practice time.
DBS Checked Tutors
All of our tutors are experienced professional musicians who are DBS checked.
Professional Environment
All tuition is carried out in a professional studio environment, not a boring classroom or office.
