The Bunker’s ‘School of Rock’ runs every Summer, so if you have a young persons aged 11-19 who plays an instrument or would like to learn one and play in a band, get in touch.

This summer, the workshops run from 1:00pm – 4:00pm every Monday and Wednesday, from 28/7/25 to 29/8/25. Each block of 5 Monday or Wednesday sessions cost £50 per person. If a young person wants to come every Monday and Friday, the 10 sessions will cost £100.

During the sessions, participants will form a group with other young people and develop important music skills including listening, music critique, musical influences and genres, plus benefit from instrument tuition, equipment setup, how to generate ideas, introducing melodies, write memorable and moving lyrics, plus killer hooks, and performing to a crowd.

A live performance event will be held at the end of the 5 week block where families and friends are invited. 

The main aim of the workshops is to develop and nurture the talents of local young people in the hope that after the workshops, they will continue to write, practice and perform together.
